The National Amateur Fall Baseball Federation (NAFBF) was founded
in 2016 by B. Colin Smith, a visionary leader with over 40 years of
experience shaping the future of amateur baseball.
Mr. Smith’s journey in the sport began more than four decades ago,
when he started coaching high school players. Over the years, he has
served as a trusted administrator for renowned organizations such as
AAU, AABC, CABA, and NABF, consistently upholding a legacy of
integrity and excellence. His approach has always been simple, yet
powerful: hard work, belief, teamwork, and success.
In 2016, recognizing the need for a transformative shift in youth
sports, Mr. Smith launched the NAFBF with a bold mission: to change
the national perspective on what it takes for young athletes to thrive.
The NAFBF is built on a deep passion for baseball, but its influence
extends far beyond the game. It immerses student-athletes in a
culture rooted in dedication, belief, and support, while opening doors
to a world of opportunities.

At the heart of the NAFBF is a commitment to guiding young athletes
toward higher education and meaningful careers. Through
scholarships, academic support, and life-skills development, the
NAFBF empowers student-athletes to achieve their fullest potential
both on and off the field.
Today, the NAFBF continues to expand its reach, offering more
student-athletes than ever the chance to experience its life-changing
program. Here, athletes not only master the fundamentals and finer
points of baseball, but they also develop the critical life-skills and
mindset needed to excel in every aspect of their lives.
