Andrea Sasha Ortiz is Chief Strategy Officer of the diversified private holding company, AMORE. Her private consulting practice focuses on holistic and spiritually-focused treatment modalities for high performers and professionals living with trauma, depression, and anxiety. As an overcomer of intimate partner violence (IPV), she empowers women and teens to thrive through policymaking, advocacy, and the promotion of mind-body-spirit health, wellness, and beauty. Ever committed to being the change she wishes to see in this world, Dr. Sasha endeavors to create career opportunities, housing, and wellness initiatives to assist 10,000 IPV thrivers worldwide to build sustainable support.
Dr. Sasha is a lifelong learner committed to leadership and professional development. She is an alumna of Spelman College (BA), Columbia University (MA), and the University of North Texas (PhD), where she studied Clinical Psychology. In 2023 she was awarded an honorary doctorate in Judaic Theology (DDiv) from the Interfaith Theological Seminary for her work with interfaith post-9/11 military families and Veterans. As a result of her commitment to increasing awareness of holistic health for minority graduate students, her doctoral research recently earned her the Dallas Psychological Association’s Dissertation Award and Graduate Executive of the Year. Named one of the New York Journal’s 30 Women under 30 in 2022, Dr. Sasha believes in polishing herself like a multifaceted gem. She is an international award-winning beauty mogul, pageant queen, model, author, and TED speaker who believes every woman has unique beauty and deserves to harness it in any way desired. A 2024 Global Beauty Award Nominee for Entrepreneurship, she has cultivated relationships with international beauty and fashion experts to expand and diversify global beauty standards. In each of her endeavors, she promotes intentional self-care and ‘beauty for a cause.’ The former International Ms. Texas (’21), Ms. USA (’22) and Ms. North America (’23) serves as a global wellness diplomat and mental health influencer. Through targeted community service initiatives, she has increased awareness of the impact of intimate partner violence (IPV) on thriving women’s health. She recently served as an Executive Producer for the short film ‘Strange Fruit’ which illustrated the impact of the pandemic quarantine on the mental health of domestic violence survivors. Dr. Sasha is an active board member of local, state, national, and global organizations such as the Junior League, Texas Public Policy Foundation, and the Texas Council for Sex Offender Treatment. Dr. Sasha is Chief Beauty Officer of the innovative emerging luxury brand Golden G!ddess Beauty Co. whose mission is to rejuvenate and refine beauty standards, techniques, and tools utilized by women worldwide. She is most passionate about teaching women her STEM Theory© to cultivate confidence by leveraging their greatest empowerment tool: entrepreneurship. In 2023 she was awarded Passion Vista’s Who’s Who of the Industries, and the Art, Love, Lifestyle Magazine True Beauty Award. She believes, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the hands of the determined.” In her peripheral time, she enjoys samba dancing, equestrian sports, and quality time with her beloved family.
